eskimo proverb...

yesterday morning before school, star was very upset for her teacher.... star said her teacher, the amazing a loving mrs champlain's son was dying and she would be rushing to Missouri in the hope of seeing him one last time....star thought she would be having a substitute at school, i went to school with her and mrs champlain was there and said "yes my son died last night, i didn't make it in time, i will not be going now...." i made her this little accordian style sympathy card.... it reads "perhaps... they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy" it is an eskimo proverb........ i forgot to credit them.....i was happy to see her smile when she read it and thank me as she held it to her heart...... "i am comforted because i know where he is." was her response...! we love mrs. champlain!

it was hard to photograph but the card stock i chose for the outside of the card is a night in shining armor holding up a sword while sitting on his horse.... she liked it....
